Javier Collazo Justiniano, Project Manager
Born in Puerto Rico and a native Spanish speaker, Javier learned English upon moving to the US in his teenage years. He also studied French since an early age and attained advanced fluency. Javier returned to his native island where, in 2007, he began studies in Hispanic Linguistics at Universidad de Puerto Rico, earning a scholarship to conduct a lexicographic research for the Instituto de Lengua Literatura y Antropología under the CSIC, in Madrid, Spain. Moving back to New York, he obtained a BA in Spanish with a concentration in Translation and Interpretation from CUNY Hunter College in 2016. After four years as an in-house translator at a Manhattan law firm, he joined the TransLingua team as a Project Manager in the summer of 2017.
