This Thanksgiving, we would like to express our sincere thanks to our partners, linguists and staff members who made it possible for us to renew our commitment to providing crucial translation and interpretation services to thousands of people in New York, Colorado and elsewhere in the US, as well as organizations dedicated to helping people in need, such as Catholic Charities, the Coalition for the Homeless, The Door, Make The Road, the New York Immigration Coalition, Riis Settlement, and many others.
n April of this year, we also helped celebrate the 25th anniversary of Intercambio in Boulder, CO by co-sponsoring and attending its annual fundraiser event CAMBIO.
Translingua is proud to participate and help support Intercambio’s ongoing mission to not just teach English to immigrant families, but also connect them with our community. These life-changing connections lead to communities where everyone has access to a good education, healthcare, job opportunities, and rich, meaningful lives. That is the magic of our intercultural work together with Intercambio!
So, as this year comes to an end, TransLingua is proud to announce that – in lieu of holiday gifts – we have renewed our pledge to support Intercambio because only TOGETHER we can continue providing safe spaces where differences are valued, where vulnerability leads to strength, and where everyone is welcome – now more than ever before, belonging matters.
