Spring Forward: Driving Equity, Access, and Global Understanding

Dear Clients, Partners, Linguists, and Friends,

As we step into spring, we do so with renewed optimism and a continued commitment to the communities we serve. Despite the challenges of the past few months, the TransLingua teams in New York City and Boulder have remained steadfast in delivering culturally sensitive, accurate, and essential translation and interpretation services—not only across the New York Metro area and in Colorado, but throughout the United States and around the world.

We are especially honored to collaborate with outstanding organizations that are dedicated to advancing justice and basic human rights by providing access to shelter and food, education and job opportunities, healthcare, legal services, and community connection. These partners include Build Up Justice NY, Catholic Charities Community Services, Catholic Migration Services, CARECEN NY, Hiscock Legal Aid Society, Intercambio, Make the Road New York, Murad Immigration Law, the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), The Door Legal Services, The Fresh Air Fund, The Legal Center, and many others.

We are also proud to support conferences and side-events in connection with the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. This year we provided simultaneous interpretation services for a series of meetings at the CSW70 in Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL) and additional languages for organizations including the Center for Reproductive Rights, the Permanent Mission of Canada to the UN, the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), the International Land Coalition, Ipas Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Mediterranean Women’s Fund.

In addition, TransLingua CEO Nicole has been leading our expansion into Miami—an exciting new chapter for our organization. We have already successfully completed two interpretation events in the region and look forward to further growing our presence there, alongside our continued work in New York, Boulder, and beyond.

At TransLingua, we remain committed to promoting communication across different cultures in order to facilitate mutual understanding, provide access to vital services, and promote equality and fundamental human rights.
