Nicole Michel
Co-President, Translingua Associates Inc.
Translingua is a specialized translation company with offices in Boulder and New York City. A native of Berne, Switzerland, Ms. Michel was brought up in a multicultural environment and learned five languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish and English. She holds a BA in Translation from the Zürich School of Translation and Interpretation, Switzerland, and has dedicated her life and career to promoting diversity and multicultural communication.

Tonya Johnson
Spanish Translator/Editor, Certified Medical Interpreter

Ms. Johnson owns her own freelance translation/interpretation business. Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in Business French and International Affairs with an emphasis in Latin American Studies, and she has a diploma in Spanish from the UNAM in Mexico City. Ms. Johnson has lived and worked in France, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and Haiti, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America.

Joni Jackson-Malavasi
French to English Translator and Editor

Ms. Jackson-Malavasi specializes in beauty and cosmetics.  She earned a B.A. in French Studies from the University of Oklahoma.  Ms. Jackson-Malavasi began her career in translation while living in Paris and after having taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for five years.
