TransLingua CEO Nicole Michel-Deshagette and Project Manager Emma Fields were honored and excited to attend and provide Spanish<>English interpretation services for the “Dreaming of Home” by Cristina Jimenez book tour at the Strand Bookstore in Manhattan last night.
Cristina Jimenez is a former DREAMER, activist and teacher who details her experience in America as an undocumented immigrant from Ecuador, and the trials and tribulations she faced in her path to becoming an activist. In her book, she invites us to imagine the America that could be – where everyday people come together, build power, and fight for change, even when the world around us seems to be crumbling.
