Amy Brunner
Amy grew up in Sacramento, Welcome California and moved to Colorado, where she attended high school and college. Between her junior and senior year of high school, she volunteered with Amigos de Las Americas in rural Mexico, working on health and education projects. Amy grew up hearing Spanish daily and visited her mother's homeland of Chile quite often. There she spent time getting to know her family and the beaches around Valparaiso. Amy earned her BA in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from the University of Colorado at Denver. Before coming to TransLingua in summer of 2011, she worked for The Healing Touch Program, an alternative health medicine institute, and as an Account Manager for The Boppy Company. In her free time, Amy enjoys being outdoors, yoga, crafting and spending time with her beautiful new baby and loving husband.
Arianna Cook
Arianna Cook joined our New York office in March 2012 as a full time project manager. She grew up and attended high school in Riverside, Southern California. She was a Salutatorian in High School, swam for her Varsity Swim Team and played Water Polo. She studied Philosophy and French at Vassar College and obtained her BA in May of 2011. During her studies she spent one year at the Universite Paris-Sorbonne in Paris where she got a taste of the French language and culture. Before joining our team at TransLingua, she worked for Classic Media in New York City. In her free time Arianna enjoys cooking and updating her blog dedicated to her culinary pursuits.
Margarite Heintz Montez
Margarite Heintz Montez joined TransLingua in the spring of 2012 as our new Sales and Marketing Manager. She is a New Yorker who was born into a very international family with roots in Germany and Latin America. She has worked as a freelance interpreter and translator for various NGOs, news organizations and PR firms during the past ten years. Previous to this she worked in advertising and sales. Margarite studied at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and at New York University and has a BA in communications and translation. In her free time she is an avid soccer fan with a favorite team in almost every country.
Melissa Harris
Melissa joined the TransLingua Boulder office as a part time project manager in April of this year. She has lived in Colorado for most of her life. Melissa obtained her BS at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Before coming to work at TransLingua Melissa worked at the University of Colorado Denver. She also has experience in Customer Service and Veterinary assistant jobs. When she is not working at TransLingua she is running the front desk at a Veterinary Clinic in Boulder. She is thrilled to be working in Boulder and has exchanged her car for a Jeep so that she can enjoy everything Boulder has to offer on and off the road. Her interests include metaphysics and music concerts.
