A Warm Welcome to Our New Staff Members
Boulder and New York
Amy grew up in Sacramento, California and moved to Colorado, where she attended high school and college. Between her junior and senior year of high school, she volunteered with Amigos de Las Americas in rural Mexico, working on health and education projects. Amy grew up hearing Spanish daily and visited her mother’s homeland of Chile quite often. There she spent time getting to know her family and the beaches around Valparaiso. Amy earned her BA in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from the University of Colorado at Denver. Before coming to TransLingua in summer of 2011, she worked for The Healing Touch Program, an alternative health medicine institute, and as an Account Manager for The Boppy Company. In her free time, Amy enjoys being outdoors, yoga, crafting and spending time with her beautiful new baby and loving husband.
