Translation & Immigration: Part II

Translation & Immigration: Part II

In January, Translation & Immigration reported on TransLingua’s ongoing commitment to working with Intercambio to bridge cultural gaps and help immigrants communicate and integrate themselves in their communities.

In February, we have more exciting news to share related to our work with immigrant populations in the United States.

After sponsoring the 2019 Fall Conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Colorado Chapter, we have forged many partnerships with lawyers and firms of this AILA Chapter, supporting them with written translations for immigration and asylum applications and with interpreters for client meetings, interview preparation, immigration interviews, and court appearances in over 100 languages and dialects.

So, we are particularly proud to sponsor once again the AILA’s Colorado Chapter Winter Conference on February 5, 2021: https://www.aila.org/membership/communities/chapters/colorado/colorado-chapter-2021-winter-conference, and we look forward to continuing our partnership and make new connections this year!

We have also renewed our partnership with the New York Immigration Coalition to support its communication efforts regarding access to PPP loans and other Small Business Services, as well as information on Stimulus Checks, Paid Sick Leave and Unemployment Benefits by providing translation services into Arabic, Bengali, Haitian Creole, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish.

Translingua receives 2020 Readers Award for Top Services & Providers by the New Jersey Law Journal.
